The program’s built, site pages are live, sponsors are signing up, and we’re tickled pink.
On April 11th we’re hosting PBI Print & Media Boston, a full-day conference for print customers, designers and marketers who work with print & digital media. We haven’t had a show in New England since 2010 and, like The Terminator, I promised that “I’ll be back.” Well, get ready!
PBI Boston takes place downtown at the Inn at Longwood. That’s in Boston’s medical neighborhood. It’s got on-site parking and is also on the T. Plus it’s a short cab ride from Logan Airport. The conference runs from 8 am to 6 pm and includes 6 dyn-o-mite sessions by some of the industry’s “all stars” as well as a fab cocktail party from 5 to 6, courtesy of super sponsor Fujifilm!
The six sessions include Daniel Dejan of Sappi Fine Paper, covering QR & AR Codes – Daniel’s session is chock full of content, ideas and surprises; Don Carli (the “Dean of Green”) doing what he does best: talking about sustainability in the media supply chain; Cheryl Kahanec, a true pioneer in digital and VDP, covering innovations in these technologies; two different buyer-led sessions: one led by Lehman Millet’s Blair Weidig, that will tackle “Best Print Sourcing Practices for 2012,” and another led by Digitas’ Mariah Hunt, with a focus on How to Interpret a Printer’s Equipment List (and why you MUST understand what’s on it). The sixth session is my Brainstorming Session, right before lunch. That’s where we all get a chance to talk shop.
This conference is limited to 100 people total. So don’t wait too long to register! Visit the Events tab on our site and sign up online while Early Bird rates apply.
We only have room for 10 sponsors this time around, and guess what? We have six already:
1. Xerox
2. Fujifilm
3. 48hourprint.com
4. Japs-Olson Company
5. Concord Litho
6. Sappi Fine Paper
Please join us - and your peers – on April 11th! Your ticket includes breakfast AND lunch, breaks, sponsor visits, all six sessions, and that fab cocktail party at day’s end.
Let me know if you’ve any questions. Registration is simple to do, we promise. Oh, if you need a hotel room, don’t wait to call the Inn at Longwood (617-731-4700) and mention our conference. They’re holding a small block of rooms at a great low price for another month or so.
See you there! Can’t wait.
Margie
