What is PBI?
PBI (Print Buyers International) is an independent professional association with a focus on where print is headed and how to move it forward in the media mix. We are a leading resource for print buyers and creatives, marketing directors and print CEOs. We deliver education and information.
Margie Dana founded PBI on the heels of her original company, Boston Print Buyers, which served Boston-area print buyers. As it became clear that the issues of print buying professionals were universal, Margie rebranded it Print Buyers International in 2007, with a determination to become a resource for print customers and printers the world over.
How do we define “print buyers”?
Print buyers. Creatives. Graphic designers. Marketers. Purchasing agents. Production managers. These professionals have so much in common.
They’re all involved in using print and other media in marketing campaigns and for corporate communications. They influence the choice and the use of media for their firms. It’s a complex decision.
Helping professionals keep current with innovations and trends in the printing industry, as well as providing education about how other media affect and strengthen their campaigns, is PBI’s specialty.
